All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to Parriss Jewellers. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of Parriss Jewellers. You may not modify, distribute or re-post something on this website for any purpose.
Accuracy of content
Parriss Jewellers has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at time of publishing and all products have been fairly described. However, orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT. Packaging may vary from that shown. The weights, dimensions and capacities given are approximate only. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.
Damage to your computer
Parriss Jewellers make every effort to ensure that this website is free from viruses or defects. However, we cannot guarantee that your use of this website or any websites accessible through it won’t cause damage to your computer. It is your responsibility to ensure that the right equipment is available to use the website and screen out anything that may damage it. Parriss Jewellers shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise to computer equipment as a result of using this website.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account and any activities that occur under your account. Parriss Jewellers shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise as a result of any failure by you to protect your password or account.
We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.
To order goods over the telephone or on our website, you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery within the UK. All telephone orders will be acknowledged verbally at the time of order, and all orders placed on our website will be acknowledged electronically by e-mail. Please note that verbal and/or electronic acknowledgements do not constitute order confirmation or order acceptance. Your order will be accepted and the creation of a legally binding contract between you and us will take place once the goods have been despatched or collected. (Alternatively, we may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case we will inform you in-person or by telephone or e-mail).
When deciding whether or not to accept your order we may use certain information about you, including any received from credit reference agency checks. This helps to protect you and us against fraudulent transactions.
We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method or suggest that you come into the store.
The total price payable will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been acknowledged. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our suppliers’ prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been acknowledged. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order.
All prices are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time the order is placed.
From time to time the prices displayed on our website may be different if you are directed to it from a third party website. Purchases at these prices can only be made on our website and by arriving on it through a relevant third party website; these prices will not be available in-store or over the telephone.
Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order. If a product becomes unavailable we may offer you an alternative or suggest that you (re-) visit our stores.
Your order is sent directly to our secure till in our shop for processing. Once we have received your order and payment, our staff will pick, pack and dispatch the item. We will aim to do this the same day for all orders in to our shop Mon-Sat (excl Bank Holidays) received before 1pm.
You can track the progress of your order at any time by logging into My Account from the Home page on this website.
Any item you purchase will be dispatched on the same day if the order is made before 1pm from Monday to Friday (not including Bank Holidays). If purchased after 1pm, on a weekend, or on a bank holiday, then the item will be sent the next available working day. Due to the nature of our products and Royal Mail Insurance restrictions items over £75 will be sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery which is an insured delivery service and guaranteed to arrive next day before 1pm, by 5.30pm to the following postcode areas :-

Items under £75 will be sent using Royal Mail Recorded signed for delivery which takes 2-4 days from despatch.
If you are unavailable when our delivery partner tries to deliver your order, they will usually try to deliver again the next working day or they will drop a card in to offer you a collection from a local collection point. If you should refuse delivery of goods, or are not available to accept the delivery on both delivery attempts, you will be required to cover any extra costs incurred.
We will only deliver goods to the address on the order.
If you are ordering goods that are out of stock we will dispatch them when they are received from our supplier.
On occasion goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. As such, delivery cannot be guaranteed and any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only. We shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.
Under the distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of the goods.
Cancellations, amendments & returns
As soon as you realise that you need to change your order please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 01263 822661, giving the reason for the return and one of our advisors will help you. If you amend your order, you may find there are changes to your delivery timescale and/or the price you pay for the item (as you’ll be charged the current selling price on the day you amend the order). Once you have taken delivery of your order, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 7 days.
In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, please email email@example.com or call us on 01263 822661 immediately so we can arrange an exchange at your convenience.
Although we hope you are delighted with your order, we understand that sometimes you will wish to return some items. Please enclose the original receipt. Post the items back within 14 days of receipt to the address below where we will offer you an exchange, refund or credit note.

Please wrap the items very securely (using the original packaging where possible). We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit. The packaging may be opened but the goods should not be used. Items should be in a resaleable condition and returned to us by Royal Mail Special Delivery promptly at your cost.
Upon receipt of the goods we will immediately start the refund process. Your postage will only be refunded if the goods are found to be faulty.
If you are outside the 7 day time limit, you will be offered an Exchange or Credit Note for the value of the goods for up to 28 days after purchase. The credit note can be redeemed at any time online or in store.
Please note that due to hygiene considerations earrings are excluded from our returns policy, and therefore are not refunded or replaced, except if the goods are faulty, or differ from those ordered. Your statutory rights are not affected.
All goods leaving us are checked prior to despatch. However, if your product is damaged in transit, please contact us immediately on 01263 822661 within 24 hours of delivery and return the product to us. We will gladly replace or offer a refund.
We are happy to exchange an item within a 28 day period but please be aware that free delivery is only applicable on the original purchase and not for the exchanged item. The charge for postage and packaging to send out your exchanged item is £5. Please enclose a cheque made payable to Parriss Jewellers with the item you are returning to avoid delay with the exchange. Please insure you choose the correct size of ring or bangle when purchasing as you will incur a postage charge on every exchange.
When returning goods, please include your name, address and your receipt (if you prefer to keep your receipt then your welcome to send us a copy). Also include the reason for the return, and the item and article number you would like it to be replaced with (if applicable). For your own protection we advise that goods returned to us are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery. We cannot accept any responsibility for items damaged or lost in transit.
We use the industry leading Internet payment company Sage Pay to protect your card details and protect us from fraud. The following security systems are used.
All transaction information passed between merchant sites and the Sage Pay VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the Sage Pay servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.
Encryption and Data Storage
Once on Sage Pay systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign’s Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data Sage Pay hold is extremely secure and they are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.
Links to banks
Sage Pay has multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the Internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with.
No individuals within Parriss Jewellers or Sage Pay are able to decrypt transaction information or cardholder data. Our systems only allow access to Sage Pay’s most senior staff and only in extenuating circumstances (such as investigations of Card Fraud by the Police). Your transaction information and customer card information is secure even from our own employees because our systems never display the full card numbers, even on administration screens.
Law, jurisdiction and language
This website, any content contained herein and any contract brought into being as a result of usage of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. The parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. All contracts are concluded in English.
